Built in 1882 and designed by architect James Gall, Mintaro was commissioned by Captain Robert Gardiner. It was the most expensive home in Victoria at the time, completed at a cost of £22,000, and is thought to be modeled partly on Queen Victoria’s Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.
We were entrusted with the restoration of the plasterwork at Mintaro, a distinguished historic residence in Monegeetta. Our team carefully revived the home’s ornate detailing, preserving its architectural significance while highlighting the artistry of its original design. The result ensures that Mintaro’s timeless beauty endures well into the future.
